How do I create a project and capture multiple Before views?
Create a project, give it a name, and capture each Before view you want to repeat. Add as many views as the job needs, then close the capture flow when you are finished.
Before After helps contractors and service businesses capture repeatable Before/After project photos, review matched results, and create branded images and videos.
Practical help for capture, matching, review, branded media, project backups, permissions, and purchases.

Open the project when the work is complete and start the After capture flow. Before After presents each saved Before view in order so you can capture its matching After photo.
The adjustable ghost overlay places the original Before image over the live camera view. Change its visibility while you line up stable edges and landmarks to repeat the original viewpoint.
Alignment guidance may step aside when the app cannot find enough reliable visual evidence. You can still use the ghost overlay and capture the photo yourself.
The queue follows the original Before order. Retake replaces the current result, Skip moves past a view for now, and close saves your progress. Reopen the project to resume the remaining views.
Open a completed pair and compare it with the slider, side-by-side, or stacked layout. Approve the pair when it is ready, or return to capture if the After photo needs another try.
Choose a logo from Photos and select two Brand Kit colors. The logo and colors stay local to the app. You can remove the logo or change either color at any time.
Generate exact-size branded PNGs, save original photos, or create reveal and montage videos. Save compatible media to Photos or send files to a destination you choose with Apple’s native share sheet.
Export a project backup from the project’s backup controls and choose where to save or send it. To restore, select a compatible Before After project backup and let the app validate it before importing the project and its media.
Camera permission is required to capture project photos. You can enable it in iPhone Settings. Photos permission is only needed to select a logo or save media to Photos; you can still send compatible files through Apple’s share sheet when Photos access is unavailable.
Free device storage before capturing, rendering, or restoring a backup. If media is missing, check whether the project or its local files were removed and whether you have a previously exported project backup. Previously shared copies are not restored automatically.
No account or mandatory internet connection is required for capturing, editing, rendering, and managing projects. An internet connection may be needed when loading purchase options, buying Pro, or restoring purchases through the App Store.
Before After offers optional monthly and annual Pro subscriptions and a lifetime Pro unlock through Apple’s App Store. Use Restore Purchases from the purchase screen with the Apple ID that made the original purchase. Prices are localized by the App Store.
